“I realised what I was truly searching for wasn’t just information — it was understanding.”

Hi, I’m Sevim — clinical naturopath, founder of Paradosia Wellness and co-owner of Organica.

My journey into naturopathy began through my own experience of burnout, fatigue, skin issues, and feeling deeply disconnected from my body while trying to keep up with a lifestyle that no longer felt natural or sustainable. Like many people, I found myself endlessly searching for answers — googling, reading articles, blogs, research papers, and health information filled with scientific language I couldn’t fully understand or meaningfully apply to my own life. The information was everywhere, yet real clarity felt strangely hard to find.

What I kept noticing was that so many others felt the same way. Across blog comments, forums, articles, and social media, people were expressing the same frustration I felt — overwhelmed by conflicting advice, wellness trends, and endless information, yet still left without a real understanding of what was actually happening in their own bodies or where to begin. I wanted to know the “why.” I wanted to understand the deeper patterns, the root causes, and how everything connected together in a way that was personal and meaningful.

That search eventually led me to naturopathy.

What drew me to this path was not only the science of the human body, but the ability to translate complex health information into something clear, practical, and individualised. To this day, my philosophy hasn’t changed. Whatever I learn, I want to pass on in a way that feels understandable, empowering, and relevant to real life. How does this information translate into your life? How does it relate to your experience, your body, your health, your everyday habits? My role is to help connect those dots and provide the clarity people are often searching for.

At the same time, I found myself returning to something I had always known instinctively through my upbringing. I grew up in a Greek household where food, herbs, nature, and connection were simply part of everyday life. Healing wasn’t always something separate or clinical — it existed in the kitchen, in the garden, in shared meals, fresh air, sunlight, olive oil, herbs, soups made with care, and the rhythms of daily living. My yiayia’s avgolemono soup could heal just about anything (even a broken heart).

As someone of Greek heritage, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the philosophy of Hippocrates, who believed that health could not be separated from nature, lifestyle, food, environment, and the unique constitution of the individual. Long before wellness became an industry, this understanding recognised the body as part of a larger interconnected whole, not something separate from nature, but deeply shaped by it.

Later, my clinical training gave me the scientific understanding to connect these traditional practices with evidence-based naturopathy. Today, Paradosia Wellness exists as a meeting point between both worlds — timeless healing wisdom and modern science, brought together in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and realistic to modern life.

The word “Paradosia” means tradition in Greek, and to me it represents a return, not backwards, but back into connection with the things that have always supported human health and wellbeing: nourishment, movement, rest, and nature.

My approach is deeply rooted in education and empowerment. I never want people to feel dismissed, confused, dependent, or overwhelmed by their health journey. I believe you deserve to understand your body and the reasons behind the recommendations you’re given. That’s why I take the time to listen deeply, answer questions with honesty and clarity, and create treatment plans that feel individualised, sustainable, and supportive of long-term health — not quick fixes or unrealistic extremes.

I’m passionate about supporting not only current health concerns, but also prevention, longevity, and helping people create strong foundations for lifelong wellbeing. To me, healing is not about perfection. It’s about learning to work with your body instead of against it, understanding the small everyday choices that shape your health over time, and feeling informed and empowered enough to create meaningful change with confidence.

A Vision Beyond the Clinic

Paradosia Wellness is more than a naturopathic practice — it’s a space to reconnect with your health, your body, and the rhythms that support long-term wellbeing.

Right now, that vision exists through personalised 1:1 online consultations and The Wisdom Hub — a space where I share the knowledge, traditions, and science that continue to shape my work as a naturopath. You’ll find reflections on food as medicine, herbal wisdom, preventative health, nature as therapy, and practical education designed to help you better understand your body in a way that feels approachable, meaningful, and realistic to everyday life.

More recently, that vision has also expanded into the physical world through the opening of Organica in Kavala, Greece — a thoughtfully curated organic health and wellness store created to bring these philosophies into everyday living. From nourishing foods and herbal products to low-tox home and personal care, every product is chosen with intention, education, and long-term wellbeing in mind. For me, it’s an extension of the same work I do in clinic: helping people feel more informed, connected, and supported in the choices they make for their health each day.

At the heart of everything I do is one simple goal: to help bring clarity to the overwhelming world of health and wellness, and to empower people with the understanding, confidence, and support to care for themselves in a more conscious and sustainable way.

Healing doesn’t have to be complicated. Often, it begins with understanding.
